Is ImageResizely really free?: Yes! Our Free plan lets you process up to 10 images per batch with all core features — resize, compress, convert, crop, and add watermarks. No watermarks added to your images, no registration required.
How does client-side processing work?: All image processing happens entirely in your browser using HTML5 Canvas and WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device — they're not uploaded to our servers, ensuring complete privacy and security.
What image formats are supported?: We support JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and HEIC. You can convert between any of these formats. Output formats include JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF.
What's the maximum file size?: Each image can be up to 50MB. Free plan allows 10 images per batch, Pro allows 100, and Team allows 500.
Can I use ImageResizely for commercial purposes?: Absolutely. All plans including Free allow commercial use. No attribution required. Process product photos, marketing materials, or client work without restrictions.
Do you store my images?: No. We never store, backup, or have access to your images. Everything processes locally in your browser. Once you close the tab, the data is gone.
What are the platform presets?: One-click presets for Instagram (post, story, reel, profile), Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube (thumbnail, banner), Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, plus print sizes (4x6, A4, Letter, etc.) and e-commerce (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify).
Can I process images offline?: Yes! Once the page loads, you can disconnect from the internet and continue processing images. The app works as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — install it from your browser menu for offline access.
How does smart compression work?: Our compression uses advanced algorithms (including WebP/AVIF modern codecs) to reduce file size by up to 90% while maintaining visual quality. You can also target a specific file size in KB.
What's the difference between Fit, Fill, and Stretch?: Fit scales the image to fit within dimensions, adding padding if needed. Fill scales to cover dimensions, cropping excess. Stretch forces exact dimensions, distorting aspect ratio.
Can I add watermarks to multiple images at once?: Yes. Add text or image watermarks with position, opacity, rotation, and size controls. Apply the same watermark to all images in a batch or customize per image.
What browsers are supported?: All modern browsers: Chrome 80+, Firefox 75+, Safari 14+, Edge 80+. For best performance, use the latest version of Chrome or Firefox.
